If so, I am currently recruiting for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant on a contract basis. This is a role which is focused on producing flood risk assessments and flood risk reports on packages of work for HS2.
 
This role is fully remote and my client is open to part time or full time candidates.
 
This position falls outside IR35.
 
The Ideal Candidate:
 
·Working towards chartership
·Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of current technical standards and guidance
·Extensive experience undertaking flood risk assessments and flood risk reports for development infrastructure schemes
·Knowledge of surface water, foul water and SUDS designs and demonstrate a thorough understanding of current assessment techniques
·Produce technical reports efficiently and accurately.
·Proven knowledge of design and specification of sustainable drainage systems to current design standards
·Be able to demonstrate a proficiency with the design and specification of both adoptable and private sewerage pumping stations
·Knowledge of section 104 and 106 agreements
·Have experience of the preparation of evidence for planning appeals and public enquiries
·Have a general understanding and knowledge of wider environmental issues and trends.
