Fire Risk Assessor
Are you a qualified Fire professional looking for an immediate start?

Who will you be joining?
You will be joining a south coast Local Authority with a large and varied portfolio of properties as part of a team that manage H&S within the Sussex region.
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
·Carry out Assessments across the council's property portfolio
·Advise on remedial measures
·Inspect completed works to ensure they meet the required standards
·Keep up to date with ongoing changes in regulations and ensure Authority are aware and compliant
 
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·NEBOSH Fire or equivalent Fire related Qualification (essential)
·Membership to IFE or IFSM (essential)
·Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments on behalf of Local Authorities
·Excellent knowledge and understanding of fire safety legislation and guidelines
·Full UK driving license
 
 
How will you benefit?
 
Should you be successful in securing this role you will benefit from an hourly rate of £25 per hour for an initial period of 3 months. There is a chance this contract will be extended should your initial period be successful.
