Contract: 6 Months
Salary: : £350 to £390 Per Day - Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)
Location: York - Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office)
 
 
Role:
Within this role you will be working client-side on large rail infrastructure projects your role will to be provide financial advice and guidance to senior members of the team and key stakeholders to understand the financial results and forecasts against budgets including producing period accruals, transfers and adjustments to validate accounts and ensure they are relevant.
 
Making recommendations to senior team members based on cost analysis or areas identified that require improvement to meet area targets.
 
You will also be responsible for reviewing and monitoring key financial metrics including F4 Reds & Ambers, Negative Accruals. You will work closely with the supported business leadership team, under the direction of the Senior Finance Business Partner, to deliver professional finance and accounting advise.
 
 
 
Essential:
·        Previous experience operating as a Finance Business Partner is essential
·        Membership (Or working towards a membership) of a relevant accounting body (CIMA/ACCA) or minimum of 2 years experience
·         Demonstrate strong understanding of business needs and relevant application of accounting standards
·         Extensive experience of Oracle based systems (eBusiness)
 
 
Preferred:
·        Degree or equivalent qualification in finance and accounting or business management or experience
·       Professional Financial Qualification.
