Job description

My client is a large Infrastructure Group who work across several disciplines. They are a key provider of engineering services that ensure the infrastructure across the UK is built, maintained and improved. The group works in many sectors including, Metering, Security Solutions, Power, Highways, Water, Gas and many more.  The group is one of the best employers in the industry and a leading pioneer within the sectors it services.
 
Within the group they have a large Home Security Service company that mainly offers services to domestic clients. They have some of the world's leading products of which most are unrivalled in the UK. With an excellent client base whom which spend on average 12 years as customers, they can offer a stable career and opportunities to progress in an ever-growing arm to the group.
 
40-hour week between Monday and Friday.
There is also a call out rota that is paid and worked on a 1 in 4 basis.
A company van, fuel card and equipment will be provided.
 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Security Field Engineer including having...
·3 Years+ experience within a security systems service & installation role
·Demonstrable knowledge of CCTV & access control
·Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement in a customer facing environment
·Willingness to develop skillset in line with the full role profile
·Surveying & quotation experience 
 
As they have an exclusive offering of products, they will provide training on how to maintain these products and install them when required.
 
A Typical day:
You start your day by collecting your equipment from a local pick-up point of by box. Using your tablet, you go to a customer's property and service/ maintain or fix their security system. Should it be CCTV, Security gates or alarm systems. Using smart technology, you will ensure the system is fully functional and easy to use for the customer. Speaking to them and suggesting improvements for their systems, offering best advice. Upon finishing your job, you will check to see where the next job is and attend that. Once you have finished all your planned jobs or have completed your hours, you will then return home (Paid overtime provided if the job requires).
 
Requirements:
·Full UK Driving License (Essential)
·Security Experience
 
Experience in:
·Intruder alarms (DSC, Risco and Orisec experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided)
·CCTV systems
·Door access & entry systems
·Smart home systems (Halo)
