My client is a fast-growing contractor with massive plans and huge opportunities for skilled and hard-working supervisors with a background in fibre to assist the build by working alongside the build partners to ensure work is completed to quality standards. The successful applicant will have experience working on the Openreach network and the relevant accreditations as well as experience supervising multiple gangs across several build partners. Due to the expansion of the network build, they are looking to increase their workforce and expand the service they can offer, this has brought with it the opportunity for multiple new supervisors to join this business!
 
As a Fibre Supervisor, you will be managing engineers and splicers working on the installation and maintenance of the network. You will be responsible for ensuring your operatives are trained and compliant and undertake the full duties of a supervisor on an FTTP build. Your key responsibilities will be to look after the fibre build however it is likely there will be a cross over in some areas with the civils operatives and build. You'll be joining a growing team in and around Peterborough providing FTTH, with continuous internal opportunities to progress in your career in the future.
 
Key Essentials:
·As Fibre Supervisor you will report to the Delivery Manager directly and will be responsible for overseeing several fibre gangs involved in the network build involving blown fibre, cabling and splicing on both underground and overhead works to provide FTTP across Lincolnshire.
·You will carry out audits to make sure health and safety and quality are at the forefront of focus
·Manage KPIs across the teams to drive progression across the build
 
Requirements:
·Experienced fibre supervisor with good knowledge of the fibre build
·3+ years experience supervising on fibre builds
·Excellent knowledge of PIA Network Build - blown fibre, splicing and jointing on external fibre projects
·Previous experience working with multiple gangs of fibre engineers across multiple disciplines
·Experience supervising across multiple disciplines and build partners
