Job description

Our client has created a new role for an Events and Commercial Marketing Manager to join their business development team. The role will be to develop, create and promote through events and an integrated commercial marketing campaign an awareness of the business and services across the industry.
 
Main accountabilities:
·Create and implement innovative commercial marketing strategies for engineering services, understanding market trends ensuring approach fits with the business plan.
·Day to day management and production of commercial marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns to promote the company's services.
·Event management to raise the profile of the company's commercial offer across the business through by organising, attending and managing the company's presence at industry events to raise the profile across the industry.
·Work collaboratively across the business and with external creative agencies, to design and create marketing materials such as brochures and adverts along with relevant online and print advertising and editorial to increase the visibility of the business and services offered.
·Produce creative content, including videos, blog posts, and social media posts (Twitter/LinkedIn) relating to commercial activity to target new external customers and enhance external customer engagement.
·Produce case studies and press releases relating to works undertaken for external client base, to promote services and enhance the company's reputation within the industry.
·Trend and pattern analysis to report on the effectiveness of marketing activities to show return on investment and refine campaigns accordingly.
·Support the Business Development Unit to create client proposals and presentations.
 
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
·Substantial practical experience and track record of supporting marketing campaigns, advertising, events and creating content.
·Good understanding of social and traditional media and how they can be used to promote and sell products/services.
·Good understanding of digital marketing techniques.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong copy writing and content creation skills.
·Excellent attention to detail.
·Excellent creative digital software skills.
·Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
