Are you are an Estimator looking to work with one of the UK's top House builders?
 
The role will involve producing land appraisals and will require experience in pricing a range of housing developments varying in complexity. You will be capable of working on your own initiative and closely with the land team and will be responsible for maintaining a competitive cost database.
 
Duties include
 
·Initial Appraisal of a tender opportunity including, provide an overview of the project documents to the management team for approval to submit a tender.
·Provide a cost overview to the Divisional CE/DMD/DFD
·Costing Roads & Sewers / Infrastructure / S278 works.
·Costing site specific abnormals.
·Section 106 cost breakdown including indexation amounts.
·Assessing build costs, technical constraints, planning advice, sales values, programme, specification
·Value engineering - provide advice and costs associated with value engineering proposals for the scheme.
·Provide input in post tender queries / negotiations.
·Represent the company in a commercial capacity
 
This is a permanent role so ideally someone that has been with another residential builder for a minimum of 2 years.
