Interim Senior Estates Surveyor / Asset Manager  
Salford
£350 per day (Umbrella Inside IR35) 
3 Month initial contract
 
Cheshire Local Authority in need of Estates Surveyor to support them in the management of their mixed portfolio. Currently undergoing an internal re-structure there will be the opportunity for further works.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  
·Rent reviews 
·Lease renewals 
·Dilapidations  
·Acquisitions 
·Disposals 
·Service contract reviews  
·Valuations / managing external valuations 
·Supporting Junior Surveyors  
·Liaising with both internal and external parties  
·Taking a commercial approach securing value for money, optimising income and identifying and delivering creative and sustainable solutions (where relevant) 
 
To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate the following:  
·Experience in Estates / General Practice Surveying  
· Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) 
·Demonstrable knowledge of corporate landlord and tenant work and general property law 
·Previous evidence of corporate asset management within a public sector body 
·A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Estate Management or related/ similar
