£15p/h Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)
3 Months Initially (with view for extension)
What will you do?
1.To assist and support the Commercial Estate Manager in co-ordinating and managing the Council's property portfolio.
2.The postholder will have specific responsibility for the lettings and day to day management and maintenance of the Council's 1,800 lock up garages (annual income for 2022 circa £700,000) and assist with the management of commercial properties.
3. The postholder will also be the principal point of contact by the public and tenants for property sale and letting enquiries, building maintenance problems, and building defect queries.
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·Educated to GCSE with good passes in English and Mathematics.
·A relevant property qualification.
·Computer literate with an ability to use a range of office-based systems.
·Driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
·Ability to carry out site inspections, which may require the ability to climb ladders or inspect excavations at some personal risk.
·Ability to visit tenant's premises and other locations alone and/or with other employees.
