Environmental Consultant
 
Our client is now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Consultant to join their friendly team who has a natural ability to undertake quantitative assessments, preferably in environmental air quality and dispersion modelling.
 
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team delivering on key regional and national projects and to further develop a variety of skills and build a successful career within the environmental consultancy sector.
 
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support to the delivery of air quality assessments;
- Developing skills in areas such as environmental licencing, carbon assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA);
- Other opportunities will be available to work with other teams in the business, covering aspects such as ecology, hydrology and contaminated land; and
- Opportunity to undertake field and site work.
 
Role Requirements
- A relevant undergraduate degree;
- A member, or working towards membership of, a professional body;
- Ability to write high quality, thorough and structured reports;
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation;
- Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve;
- An understanding and up to date knowledge of environmental legislation and policy trends;
- UK Drivers Licence;
- Be self-motivated and bring a positive attitude to the workplace.
