My client is a Principal Contractor and a leading UK provider of design and build services to clients within the rail sector. They are looking for someone to join on an ongoing contract basis.
 
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £300 - £350 per day
Outside of IR35
 
Location: Hertfordshire
 
As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Electrical estimating for all Tendering opportunities as required.
 
Role & Requirements:
 
·Responsible for the management and delivery of Electrical estimating requirements.
·Preparation of prices, utilising estimating software such as CANDY.
·Preparation of Take-Off's from Tender drawings and collation into a recognised BOQ.
·Managing internal & external quotations for labour, materials & 3rd party organisations.
·Must have electrical signalling and power experience - High voltage / Direct current.
·Must have previous experience working on NWR infrastructure projects.
 
Competencies & training requirements:
 
·PTS, AC, DCCR
·E&P Competent
·18th Edition
·Good working knowledge of NWR & LU Standards and procedures
