Job description

Role: Drainage Engineer (HPWJ)

Location: Sussex (remote)

Salary: £32,880 - £36,390 per annum based on £12 - £13.50 per hour + uplift payments

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Do you have experience with working on van pack jetters/HPWJ and push-rod CCTV systems on sewer networks?

I am pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity with my client, a large contractor working with Southern Water, who has an excellent reputation for delivering work in a timely and professional manner.

You will work a 45-hour week and your role will involve attending reactive and planned sewer blockages and clearance works to maintain flows on the sewer network across Sussex.

The successful candidate will be provided with a van pack jetter and further relative equipment to enable you to undertake the job and to work as part of a reactive team. You will head out to site from home in your company vehicle, with occasional yard attendance required to collect equipment.

*A full (manual) UK driver’s license is required for this role.

You will be working on a rota similar to the below:

OTE: £32,880 - £36,390 per annum based on £12 - £13.50 per hour + uplift payments as detailed below):

Week 1: 7.30am - 5pm

Week 2: 10am - 7.30pm (£20 per day (x5 days) uplift payment for working late shift = £100 for the week = £1,200 per annum)

Week 3: 7.30am - 5pm

Week 4: 10am - 7.30pm + emergency call out standby + weekend working (£20 per day (x5 days) uplift payment for working late shift, £20 per weekday (x5 days) for standby and £50 per weekend day (x2 days) for standby = £300 for the week = £3,600 per annum).

Apply today and if successful, I will be in touch. You can contact me at libby.horner@carringtonwest.com / 02394 314919.
