Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

Are you an experienced Document Controller with a background in civil engineering or highways? We are seeking a skilled professional to join a leading contractor based in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
·Document Management: Ensure the accurate and timely receipt, filing, and distribution of documents. Maintain up-to-date registers of documents.
·Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for internal and external meetings. Ensure all documentation is compliant with the corporate Business Management System (BMS).
·Compliance: Adhere to company Document Control Procedures and ensure documentation is approved prior to issue. Ensure change control of revision status is recorded and traceable.
·Security and Distribution: Keep Security Groups updated according to the Internal Security Group Matrix. Ensure the latest revisions of live documents are available and distributed to relevant teams.
·External Documentation: Manage and distribute external documentation as required.
·System Management: Use and provide guidance on company systems such as Viewpoint for Projects, Fieldview, CEMAR, Oracle, and Office 365.
·Team Support: Mentor team members on system use and assist in delivering commitments, including community and stakeholder engagement.
·Business Improvement: Participate in business improvement initiatives and assist with system audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
·Minimum of 3 years' experience in Document Control Management.
·Strong understanding of Document Control processes at an operational level.
·Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to be assertive.
·Familiarity with collaborative systems and data formats, particularly for statutory stakeholders like Highways England.
