Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for a manager at a busy and thriving local authority.
 
We have an exciting opportunity in one of the south coasts most premier locations for a Development Management Manager and the role is open to candidates from both the private and the public sector.
 
You will need:
·A minimum of 6 years' experience.
·Desire to manage a team of around 11
·A desire to work in the office a minimum of two days a week
·Ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines.

You will be working in a collaborative manner with both colleagues and clients whilst having the chance to manage a team of 11 planners. You will set the standard for junior planners and be a go to for the senior and principal planners. Working closely with the management team you will also be involved in shaping the wider planning team and have the opportunity to work on a range of projects.
 
The organisations is offering a flexible working arrangement which can be discussed in the interview. The interview will consist of one/two stages and will involve a presentation.  
 
Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority is a must. Please note that applications won't be considered without the criteria being met.
