DFG Surveyor
£25p/h Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)
6 Months Initially (with view for extension in place)
Calderdale Council - WFH, 1 day p/w in office
 
What will you do?
Technical Officer with experience in progressing level access showers via the Disabled Facilities Grant, though there will also be some ramps and internal alterations.  
The work will involve carrying out site surveys, providing some scale drawings (though most works are designed by the contractor), producing schedules of works and awarding works via our schedule of rates, liaising with service users, Occupational Therapists and contractors.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate ALL the following on application and through the interview process:
·UK resident
·3+ years' experience within Local Authority/Social Housing
·A construction related degree or equivalent qualification
·The applicant must be able to work well unsupervised with the ability to manage their own workload, prioritise works accordingly and ensure the timely completion of works.
·Experience of using Foundations Casemanager for record keeping would be an advantage but can be taught.  Accurate electronic record keeping is essential
·Experience of producing scale drawings is essential though use of AutoCAD is not.
