Role: Design Manager - Water AMP 7 attached to Welsh Water
Home / office working : 2-3 days office presence needed and option to work 2-3 days from home
Locations: Multiple site available across - North Wales, South Wales and Hertfordshire
Rate: £400- £550 per day dependant on experience
IR35 Status: Inside IR35 but currently being reviewed so outside IR35 option is very possible
Start date:  Immediate
Interview: Immediate
Duration: Long term eg 6-12 month rolling contract
Projects: You can be attached to clean or waste water projects for either infrastructure or non infrastructure
 
 
My client has a great opportunity for a Design Manager to join their expanding team due to an increase in AMP 7 project being released.
 
In this role you will be attached to either clean water networks / infrastructure, waste water networks / infrastructure, clean water non infrastructure, waste water non infrastructure projects dependant on your experience.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
·Technical leadership for projects across design, construction and handover
·Identify and deliver the most cost efficient engineering solution to the client
·Stakeholder management

This role is available on a permanent basis paying a package of £60,000 upwards depending on experience or a contact basis between £400-550 per day on a 6-12 month rolling contract.
 
In order to be suitable for this role you must have operated at a principal engineer, design manager, technical lead or similar level attached to UK water projects on AMP 6 or AMP 7.
