What we need:
We are recruiting for a Delivery Manager to join our Highways team in the South East to assist the Construction Manager with all scheme delivery under the M&R Highways contract. Direct report for all site supervisors; accountable fort the planning of workloads, allocation or resources and scheme delivery in the Construction Team.  

What you will do:
As Delivery Manager you will compile scheme folders and maintain an organised internal filing system. Liaise with the Asset Management team to ensure all asset databases are maintained and up to date information is held. Perform site visits to aid with the delivery of the schemes and to better communicate the required works to all involved parties. Communicate with various internal departments to obtain any required technical approvals, identifying any restraints that apply to the schemes. Co-ordinate the influx of information and amend the delivery of a scheme to suite accordingly. Liaise with the Principal Designer to identify any potential hazards and amend the design/delivery where required. 

What you will need to succeed:
·      Extensive experience of working within the highways industry
·      General knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery on high-speed roads
·      An appreciation of asset management.
·      Effective verbal and written communication skills
·      Ability to lead a team
·      Valid current CSCS (minimum Supervisor level) and SMSTS Certification - required
 Mainly office based and working from home
45 hours a week
Will include travelling to client offices
