What we need:
We are partnering with a prominent highways infrastructure organisation in the South East UK, renowned for their unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry. Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee project delivery, manage site supervisors, ensure project visibility in the region, and maintain depot operations. This role presents a temporary contract with the potential for long-term career growth within their organisation.
 
What you will do:
 Project Management: Lead and manage site supervisors to ensure the successful delivery of major highways projects while upholding quality and safety standards.
Project Visibility: Maintain transparent project progress and address challenges as they arise, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Depot Management: Oversee all facets of the major highways depot, from equipment and personnel to logistical requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to align on project goals and objectives.
Budget Management: Manage project budgets efficiently and allocate resources effectively.
Quality and Safety: Ensure that projects adhere to the highest quality and safety standards, in compliance with industry regulations.
 
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar delivery management role, with a strong preference for those with experience in the highways or infrastructure sector.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management, encompassing budget and resource management.
- In-depth knowledge of the highways industry, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- A valid UK driving licence.
