My client is seeking to add a Cost Clerk to their team to provide support to the commercial team as well as monitoring and scheduling site records to facilitate control and reporting function.
 
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Birmingham
 
Your duties as a Cost Clerk will include:
·Processing Goods Received Notes
·Recording of labour, plant, material and subcontractor costs
·Maintaining site records
·Analysing and resolving invoice and payment queries
·Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with valuation and measurement of site progress
·Assisting with the procurement of subcontractors from enquiry stage to final account

Requirements:
·Business, finance or construction commercial qualification
·Experience working in a finance or commercial function within the engineering or construction sector
·Working knowledge of finance systems
·Cost and budget administration experience
·Financial and commercial reporting experience
