Contracts Manager - Civil Engineering
Location: Rotherham (covering Manchester & Yorkshire projects)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Overview:
We are working with a reputable civil engineering and utilities contractor seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a portfolio of projects across Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and commercially astute professional with a strong technical background in civil engineering. You'll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
You'll play a key role in building client relationships, driving team performance, and developing a robust pipeline of future work in a region poised for continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and coordinate the delivery of multiple civil and utilities infrastructure projects
·Manage project timelines, cost performance, and quality standards
·Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
·Build strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
·Mentor and support Site Managers and delivery teams, encouraging a high-performance culture
·Identify commercial opportunities and support business development activities
Requirements:
·Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or senior project delivery role within civil engineering or utilities
·Strong understanding of project controls, commercial management, and programme delivery
·HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
·Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certification
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
·Full UK driving licence
