Contracts Manager

Job Description:
We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Contracts Manager to provide strategic oversight and operational direction to our project teams. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exemplary HSQE performance, fostering strong client relationships, and driving project success. Your responsibilities will include:
 
·Offering strategic, operational, and contractual guidance to project teams.
·Supervising HSQE performance for projects and ensuring compliance with regulations.
·Maintaining regular contact with contracts by visiting each site as necessary.
·Monitoring progress against schedules and resource requirements.
·Cultivating and enhancing strong client connections on each contract.
·Participating in progress meetings and monthly contract CVR meetings with the Regional Director.
·Keeping the Regional Director informed about potential issues and future work opportunities.
·Assisting the Regional Director in implementing regional and company initiatives and strategies.
·Nurturing the professional development of project staff through the PDR process and promoting team morale.
·Identifying and disseminating best practices and lessons learned.
 
 
Skills Required:
The successful candidate should have:
 
·Extensive experience in civil engineering across infrastructure projects, including highways, structures, and earthworks.
·Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage change effectively.
·Previous experience in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role.
·A relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent.
·An up-to-date SMSTS qualification and appropriate CSCS card.
·Desirable: First Aid at Work qualification.
·Desirable: Experience working on projects valued up to £25M.
