My client is a well-established civil engineering company operating in the Greater London area for nearly 40 years, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Bromley, London. The company is known for its reliability, quality products and services, and customer-focused delivery. The successful candidate will be a driven, competent individual who can inspire teams to deliver results, with a proven track record of managing contracts within the highways contracting industry.


Role Responsibility:


Reporting to the Contracts Director-


The Contracts Manager will be responsible for driving performance improvement in relation to safety, contributing to the creation and delivery of contract objectives and KPIs, leading and ensuring delivery of the contract, managing financial and contractual risk, developing and maintaining key client relationships, and driving performance improvements and best practices across the business. They will also be responsible for managing and coaching direct reports and promoting employee engagement.


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Contracts Manager, with proven management experience in the highways contracting industry, and possess relevant qualifications such as a-


CSCS qualification.

SMSTS/IOSH certification.
 
They will have technical knowledge of products and services, health and safety, operational procedures, and financial management systems. Effective communication skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and IT literacy in programs such as Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint are also essential.
