My client are a large water consultancy / contractor, working with several water companies across the UK. In this instance they are supporting Welsh Water on a large water optamisation contract. A relationship they have had for many years, ensuring effecting water flow to peoples properties and reducing water leakage.
 
The compliance coordinator role is a role using your knowledge to work on an individual basis and as part of a team offering quality assurance on site. This is a leading role in monitoring and ensuring a high quality of compliance; keeping people, reducing safety risk and ensuring there is a positive environmental impact. You will be responsible for the Heath & Safety of Leakage Field Services, working closely with the central services team and company H&S team. You will be promoting best practise on site and making sure staff work safely.
 
This role is based in Cardiff.
 
Responsibilities:
·Maintain a high level of accuracy in presentation and performance information
·Record H&S incident information
·Ensuring the contract compliance of the IMS system to ensure readiness for audit
·Lead the H&S best practise and Safety champion meetings
·Identify and run Health Initiatives
·Attend client meetings on safety
·Run Health & Safety suggestion schemes
·Create and implement H&S procedures and record the information
·Produce and send out a monthly newsletter
·Ensure the company pursues towards H&S accreditations
·Support transition of new system procedures
 
 
Qualifications and requirements
 
·IOSH (Desirable but ideal)
·NRSWA unit 10
·Ability to motivate and influence a team
·Good IT experience
·Full UK Driving License (essential)
 
 
You will be provided with a works vehicle and fuel and will be given all the relevant tools to perform the role such as a Laptop / Tablet.
