Job Title: Highways Contracts Manager
 
Location: Sussex, UK
 
Salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum
 
My client are a civil engineering contractor providing highways solutions to local authorities and private clients. They are looking for a Contracts Manager within the Sussex area to join the team.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:
·Oversee gangs for highways frameworks
·Promote HSEQ and legislation on site
·Supervise subcontractors
·Manage associated permits
·Order required materials
·Ensure projects are run within budget and to deadlines
 
Key Requirements of the Contracts Manager:
·Experience within a similar role within the highways sector
·Knowledge of 278's, drainage and resurfacing works
·Excellent communication skills
·Ability to lead a team
·Can work both independently and as a team
·Happy to travel around the Sussex area for work
 
Package of the Contracts Manager:
·£60,000-£65,000 depending on experience
·Company vehicle and fuel card
·Pension and other benefits
