Job description
Are you a rail Construction Manager with experience working on bridge and structures projects?
Do you want to work for one of the Rail industries biggest multidisciplinary contractors?
Due to exceptional growth, my client is looking to add a Construction Manager to be responsible for the management of the construction site to deliver the project safely and within budget.
Your duties as a Construction Manager will include:
·Delivering the project in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
·Delivering the project in accordance to time, cost and quality
·Maintaining a strong working relationship with the client
·Ensuring that stakeholders are informed about the project status
·Ensuring the production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's and waste management plans
·Produce and manage the project programme and procurement schedules
·Management of the ground stability temporary works on the project
Location: Birmingham - 35 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum DOE + £7500 car allowance.

Requirements:
·Experience working on bridge construction, bridge deck replacements, reinforced concrete, drainage or structures
·Degree, HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar
·CSCS managers card
·IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
·TWC, CEng MICE, confined space training, First Aid at Work and NRSWA preferred
·Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures
