Role: Commissioning Engineer - Water projects
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
Start Date: ASAP
 
Our client is a leading water sector contractor. They are looking for proven Commissioning Engineer with an electrical background who will work with them on water sector projects.
 
You will have come from an Industrial / Engineering contractor background and will have a strong electrical knowledge. Experience within the water industry is also very desirable.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Preparing commissioning plans
·Commissioning of equipment including:
oMCC
oInstrumentation
oProcess Equipment
oPumping Plants
·Liaising with subcontractors and clients including meetings
·Reviewing P&ID diagrams
 
Skills and experience:
·ONC or City & Guilds / NVQ equivalent qualification
·Working knowledge of the water / waste water industry
·PLC knowledge would be beneficial
·Be self-motivated and proactive
