Commissioning Engineer
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + overtime
Location: North West Based - UK-wide travel | Hybrid working after probation
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be hands-on with testing and commissioning LV switchgear, MCCs, cabling, and electrical systems up to 1000V, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
·Test and commission LV electrical systems and switchgear
·Read and interpret technical drawings
·Configure protection devices and support FAT/SAT processes
·Issue safety documentation (training provided)
·Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site
·Produce clear progress reports and inspection plans
·Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project delivery
What We're Looking For
·Proven E&I commissioning experience in Power, Energy, or Gas Transmission
·Hands-on experience with LV switchgear and MCCs
·HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
·Qualified in Inspection & Testing (2391-52)
·Up to date with 18th Edition (2382-22)
·CSCS/ECS card & full UK driving licence
·LV authorised and experienced
Desirable: CompEx EX01-EX04, SMSTS, First Aid
