Role: Project Delivery Manager - Water Projects
Duration: Permanent
Rate:  up to £35,000
Location: Reading
Experience: 2-5 years' relevant experience in a project management or consultancy role
 
This is an opportunity to join an experienced team that have a significant impact on the successful delivery of multi-million pounds contracts in the UK.
 
Responsibilities :
·Managing projects  
·Responsible for safe, timely and quality project delivery
·Managing and developing existing Client relationships
·Managing and developing new Client relationships to secure business in target sectors
·Preparing bids and proposals to achieve business targets
·Managing business development initiatives
·Identifying opportunities with cross-selling potential throughout the business
·Managing staff and equipment
·Using our CRM system to manage opportunities
·Attending industry events (seminars/conferences/exhibitions)
·Supporting preparation of marketing materials for exhibitions/events and social media
·Performing other tasks to support business objectives as required
·Ensuring compliance with and implementing company Health & Safety policies
 
Requirements:
·A proven track record in a project management role, or similar relevant experience
·A Degree in a relevant subject, or similar relevant experience
·Minimum 3-5 years' relevant experience in a project management or consultancy role
·Experience in business development and project delivery in the water industry and/or for local government
·Excellent report and proposal writing ability and experience in preparing proposals for technical professional services
·Proven track record in successful project management and delivery of consultancy or monitoring projects in the water industry to safety, quality, programme, cost, or similar relevant experience
·A full clean Driving Licence
·Chartered or working towards chartership with relevant professional body, or working towards chartership
