Job Purpose
 
Due to continued, strong workload in the civil engineering team, my client has the need for an Infrastructure CAD Technician to join their Birmingham office.
 
Job Description
·Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications.
·Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
·Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites.
·Liaising directly with clients when necessary.
 
Person Specification (Knowledge and Experience)
·Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
·Excellent presentation skills & drawing set-up
·Previous experience working within the civil engineering sector (particularly roads & drainage within the residential sector)
·Self motivated
·Able to work under pressure
·Adaptable to rapidly changing projects
·Proven ability to work well within teams and a willingness to take accountability for own work
·Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner
