Civil Engineer
Are you a motivated Civil Engineer looking to develop your career within a forward-thinking engineering consultancy? Our client is a well-established UK consultancy delivering high-quality transport planning, infrastructure design, flood risk and drainage solutions to a broad range of public and private sector clients.
Based in Hampshire, you will join a collaborative team delivering infrastructure solutions that support residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the South of England.
Key responsibilities include:
·Producing detailed highway and drainage designs in accordance with UK standards.
·Preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and technical reports to support planning applications.
·Using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow.
·Liaising with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
·Supporting projects from initial feasibility through to detailed design and approval stages.
About You
·Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
·Experience within a UK consultancy environment delivering highways and/or drainage design.
·Working knowledge of Section 38, Section 278 and SuDS design principles.
·Strong communication and report-writing skills.
·Keen to progress professionally, ideally working towards Chartership (ICE or similar).
