Carpenter / Multi-trader 

Are you a qualified Carpenter / Multi-trader looking for a secure role to see you through these difficult times and provide some much-needed stability?  
If so, this exciting opportunity with a Hampshire based maintenance contractor could give you just that. 
Who will you be joining?  

Well known Maintenance Contractor servicing local authorities and social housing providers across the Portsmouth area in need of multi-traders to assist on repairs and upgrade works.  

What will you do? 

Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:  

·fitting of various types of doors 
·first and second fixing 
·kitchen installations 
·Repairing minor leaks  
·Replacing sanitary wear  
·Ceramic wall tiling 
· Vinyl floor tiling 
·Non-licensed asbestos removal (where full training will be given). 
What do you need?  

To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·NVQ level 2-3 in carpentry or equivalent. 
·Trade based experience may be considered.  
·2 - 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment  
·Live within a 10-mile radius of PO6 
How will you benefit? 
Should you be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, you will work for 3 months on a contract basis followed by permanent employment on the cards.
