Job description

Are you an experienced Surveyor looking for your next contract?
 
If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a surveyor to join a Local Authority in South London.
 
What will you do?
·Attending property inspection requests within timescales set, liaising with Customers and other housing staff and property professionals.
·Defect diagnosis and building pathology and reporting defects that warrant action in accordance with the Council's Maintenance Repair Policy.
·Attend properties and undertake inspections in accordance with inspections and outcome standards, including detail schedules of necessary works to bring the property up to the required lettable standard.
·Undertake regular cyclical maintenance inspections of Council housing blocks, estates and communal shared facilities, providing inspection records and reporting any safety defects or maintenance work required as necessary.
·Ensuring a customer focused, value for money and high quality Maintenance Service is delivered.
 
What are the benefits?
·A 12 month contract.
·£30 per hour, umbrella, inside IR35.
 
What will you need?
·Considerable experience of building inspection work, identifying faults, preparing reports/specifications.
·Considerable experience of supervising building works.
·Experience working in a local authority.
