Highway Project Engineer - Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP)
We are currently looking for multiple Highway Project Engineers to join a busy client in the South West. The client has secured significant funding as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan and is looking to expand its engineering design team to ensure successful delivery of their ambitious and exciting plans to transform bus travel in the area.
The main duties of the Highways Technical Clerk are:
You will play the most appropriate role in the successful design and implementation of highway improvement schemes and work with other team members to deliver our larger projects. Duties will include:
·Delivering team priorities on time and within budget.
·Annual Highway Capital improvement Programme.
·Continuously improving team standards and working practices.
·Working with transport teams to develop briefs and specifications for Highway schemes to maximise outcomes.
·Contract management of programme delivery.
·Environmental carbon reduction in scheme delivery and outcomes.
