Role: Boiler Operator / Technician.
Location: Camelford
Pay: 20 PAYE
Duration - 3 months +
 
As a Technician / Operator you will join our client in the South West of the UK. The role is
based at a dairy which is classed as an essential operation and which has operated on a
continuous 24/7 basis throughout the pandemic.
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of operating and maintaining steam
raising boiler plant and the ability to work alone within day and nights shifts in accordance
with a prescribed shift pattern.
 
The experience you will need
Essential:
● Ability to work alone and make decisions independently
● Must have knowledge of pressure systems.
● Preferably an electrical or mechanical bias
● Good knowledge of H&S Regulations.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Full Clean Driving Licence.
Desirable:
● Knowledge of and use of PLC water treatment chemicals, CSE certification and
experience. Permit to Work writing. Confined space management.
● Previous experience in working on water treatment equipment/processes, steam
boilers, and pumping systems.
