Job description

BIM Manager urgently required to support a major National Highways project on an initial 6 month contract.
 
You will initially be required to be on site for the first few weeks and then be able to work predominantly remotely for the remainder of the contract.
 
The role will be outside IR35.
 
My client will also consider Senior BIM Coordinators will relevant experience.
 
As the BIM Manager you will be responsible for the following:
·Provision of BIM models for contractor designed elements of the work, this will include liaising with the Survey Manager to arrange as-built surveys and generating the corresponding BIM models. Liaising with AmAr BIM manager to ensure models are in the correct format (layering and naming conventions) and coordinating collation of as-built project schedules with correct ADMM asset information, including all contractor designed assets.
·Working with the project teams to ensure consistency in approach across the various disciplines.
·Maintain the projects BEP and attend National Highways audits as and when required.
·Assist in Project Handover by complying with ADMM standards and working with the Contractor and Designer Handover and BIM managers.
·Be proficient in the use of AuotCAD, Civils 3D, and Navisworks as a minimum.
·Interrogate design BIM models and carry out clash analysis, work with AmAr BIM team to resolve and update works information.
·Provision of training to the construction team, to ensure all necessary asset as-built data is captured in good time as construction work progresses.
·Carry out periodic review (maximum 3 monthly) of the BIM model to provide feedback on any missing information in good time.
·Support to the construction team by extracting information from the model as required.
·To ensure the principles of BIM Level 2 & the EIR are adhered to.
