Associate Transport Planner - Development Planning

Role Context:
The London Development Planning transport team is looking for an enthusiastic Associate to join them. The successful candidate would manage the production of transport-related technical studies associated with the planning and delivery of new development.  Candidates need to have experience in the preparation of transport-related planning application documentation and be technically excellent in the analysis of the transport impact of new development across all transport modes. The ideal candidate will be able to interrogate the results of traffic models, include those produced by LinSig, TRANSYT, JUNCTIONS and VISSIM software.
 
The role of Associate would require the management of multiple projects and project teams, simultaneously. The position will include day-to-day contact with Clients and the management of key client accounts.  Within a supportive team environment, the successful candidate will be required to develop new business for the Development Planning team. The role requires the astute financial management of projects.

The Development Planning team focuses on providing transport and highways support to clients through the planning process. Typical projects may include:
·Large residential-led mixed-use schemes.
·Retail facilities.
·Education facilities.
·City centre regeneration schemes.
