Job description

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Associate Transport Planner to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks in the context of new development projects. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and a deep understanding of transportation planning in the context of development.
 
Responsibilities:
·Lead transportation planning and infrastructure projects within the context of new development projects, ensuring integration with the wider transportation network.
·Develop and implement transportation plans and strategies that support sustainable and efficient transportation networks within new development projects.
·Conduct transportation studies and traffic analysis to inform development planning.
·Evaluate and recommend transportation improvements and infrastructure projects within the context of new development projects.
·Provide technical expertise on transportation-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.
·Collaborate with other departments to ensure transportation planning aligns with broader organizational goals.
·Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
·Stay up to date with developments in transportation technology, trends, and best practices.
 
Requirements:
·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not required.
·Experience in transportation planning, with a focus on development planning.
·Experience leading transportation planning and infrastructure projects within the context of development.
·Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
·Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders.
·Knowledge of transportation technology, trends, and best practices within the context of development planning.
·Proficiency in transportation planning software.
