Carrington West are assisting their private sector client in their search for a graduate town planner on a permanent basis.
 
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing planning consultancy and the role is open to candidates from both the private and the public sector.
 
You will need:
·Master's degree in a relevant subject (including Town, Spatial, Urban or Regional Planning, Economics, Geography, Urban Policy, Public Policy, Regeneration) and an undergraduate degree with achieved results of 2:1 or higher.
·Ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
·Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK.
·Experience and an understanding of the planning system.

You will be working in a collaborative manner with both colleagues and clients whilst having the chance to learn from senior planners, inherit your own clients and caseloads as well as a clear pathway for progression.   
 
The company requires the graduate planner to be in the office five days a week, although this can be discussed in the interview.  
 
Work experience in a planning consultancy or local authority would be advantageous.
