Assistant Civil Infrastructure Engineer

You will be part of a collaborative civil and structural engineering team working on exciting projects across Wales, the South West, and throughout the UK. You will be:
·Assisting in the design of highways, drainage, and external works for a range of development infrastructure projects.
·Preparing detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical reports in line with current industry standards.
·Supporting the delivery of adoptable works under Section 104, 106, and 278 agreements.
·Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
·Liaising with clients, local authorities, and external partners under the guidance of senior engineers.
·Visiting sites for surveys, inspections, and progress reviews.
·Developing your technical and professional skills as you work towards professional registration with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
You'll bring:
·A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
·Around 1-3 years' experience in a UK consultancy or a similar environment.
·Working knowledge of design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or Causeway Flow), and AutoCAD.
·A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong communication skills.
·A keen interest in infrastructure design and a passion for continued professional development.
·The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
