Capital and Asset Planning Business Partner - Remote working 
 
Are you a Programme & Asset Management professional experienced in the education and housing sectors looking for a new opportunity to assist in the delivery of local strategic property management?

Who will you be joining?  
You will be joining and assisting in the management of a team of property professionals tasked with the delivery of the corporate and strategic asset management of public owned property including schools, housing and public buildings. 
 
What will you do? 
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:  
·Development of the Corporate Asset Plan and asset strategies 
·Property Business Partner working closely with internal service departments and schools  
·The development of property policy In line with corporate objectives, legislation and best practice to support effective decision making 
·Property reviews and key property related performance indicators 
·Manage relationships with partner organisations, including Benedict Bedford Limited 
·Build Clear Strategic Business Cases and Initial Briefs. In response to property requirements and opportunities arising from the Corporate Asset Plan and corporate service objectives. 
·Manage the Repairs and Renewal Budgets (£2m) and the Schools Capital Maintenance Budget (£2m).   
·The prioritisation of the Council's planned maintenance programme for both the Corporate and Education Estates (Annual budget £4m) Using information relating to condition and priorities identified within the Corporate Asset Plan, Schools Asset Plan Carbon Management (Reduction) Plan and Service priorities 
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
 
·Degree qualified  
·Membership of RICS or MCIOB  
·Must have asset management experience within public sector 
·Must have strong relationship management experience  
·Be able to coordinate maintenance programs 
 
How will you benefit? 
 
Should you be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, you will benefit from a rate of £350 - £400 per day (Umbrella) for a 3-month period with the possibility of extension once the new financial year budgets have been approved. 37 hour working week and flexible remote working with few meetings and visits as required.
