Reporting to your Line Manager you will work as part of a small team of Environmental Engineers and Technicians. As a Noise / Environmental Engineer you will be challenged to find technical solutions to combat the impact of client's proposals on the environment and other issues that accompany civil developments.
 
Key responsibilities
 
·Conduct technical audits and evaluate the environmental impact of a recommended designs,
·Prediction and assessment of noise from a variety civil projects,
·Undertaking noise and vibration measurement surveys, including transport generated noise,
·Calculation and assessment of buildings acoustics,
·Preparation of noise input to environmental assessments,
·Liaise with clients and keep them up to date with design and development progress,
·Draw up environmental investigation and recommendation report,
·Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports,
·Design projects leading to environmental protection,
·Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures,
·Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and for legal actions,
·Professional liaison with approving authorities, external project team members and other professionals,
·Preparation of drawings using appropriate drawing software such as AutoCAD.
·Develop design strategies for site assessments,
·Assist in Contract administration and supervisory duties.
