Why We're Heading to UKREiiF 2025
At Carrington West, we’re committed to staying ahead of the curve in the sectors we serve. That’s why we’re excited to announce our attendance at the UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) 2025, taking place from 20th to 22nd May in Leeds.
UKREiiF has rapidly become a cornerstone event for the UK’s built environment, bringing together over 16,000 professionals from government, investment, development, and consultancy sectors. With more than 1,250 speakers across 60 stages, the forum offers unparalleled insights into the future of infrastructure, planning, and investment in the UK .
Engaging with Key Themes
This year’s UKREiiF will delve into several pressing topics, including:
Sustainability and Net Zero: Exploring pathways to decarbonise the built environment and achieve net-zero targets.
Social Value and EDI: Focusing on inclusive growth and equitable development.
Future of Real Estate: Investigating how technology and innovation are reshaping our cities and communities.
Inward Investment: Highlighting opportunities for regional development and regeneration .
All of our team attending are particularly eager to engage with these themes to better understand the evolving landscape and how we can support our clients and candidates in navigating these changes. Here are some thoughts from just some of those attending;
Jack James, our specialist in building surveying recruitment, is keen to explore discussions around the integration of digital technologies in surveying practices. He notes, "Understanding how advancements in technology are influencing building surveying will help us guide our candidates and clients through the evolving demands of the industry."
Our town planning team has been attending UKREiiF for a number of years now. Ben Hitchman, who leads our town planning contract recruitment team, is looking forward to sessions on urban regeneration and sustainable development. "These discussions are crucial for understanding the future direction of town planning and ensuring we help our clients align their recruitment strategies accordingly," he says.
Evan Brookes, focusing on highways infrastructure recruitment, is interested in the forum's emphasis on transportation innovation. He remarks, "Engaging with the latest trends in highways infrastructure will enable us to better support our clients in finding the right talent for upcoming projects."
