My client is a large Water utilities contractor working across the UK on several major projects. They are a specialist in the environmental and Water sectors in the UK and work on several other infrastructure specialist projects across the world. They have a great reputation within water optimisation and are a leading brand name in this area of the industry.
 
They are currently looking for experienced VAlidation / Leakage Technician with experience in Step Testing. Working in one of the UK's most scenic areas around Oxford, Reading, Swindon etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who has over 2 years experience leading a Step testing Gang previously.
 
The role would be working across TVA on several DMA's to work on step-testing, leakage and PZT projects for the client water company.
 
The successful candidate will ideally hold the following skills/experience:
 
- 2 years+ in similar role
- Be able to interpret and understand water network plans and drawings
- Good knowledge of Water Network and distribution, Hydraulics
- To understand and carry out PZT/ZPT
- Meter flow testing experience
- Boundary Valve investigations/proving experience 
- Utility tracing Experience
- Correlation survey experience
- Knowledge and experience of Pressure/Flow monitoring/logging
- Hold Streetworks Unit 2
- Hold EUSR card
- Knowledge and experience of flow data techniques
- Good organisational/time-management skills
 
The role is working a night shift 40hrs per week on a contract basis and subject to good performance you will be offered a permanent role after 6 months. Salary of £30,000 per annum, paid weekly.
 
You will be provided with a van, fuel card and all equipment required.
