Role: Topographical Survey Technician
Location: Ipswich
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum + company van + overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 
Are you a Topographical Surveyor looking for your next challenge? My client, a leading Engineering Surveying company, is looking for a Survey Technician to join their team in Ipswich to work on a variety of projects in different sectors.
 
You will be based out of the Ipswich office and you will work office hours Monday - Friday, however site hours will vary so overtime and occasional weekend working and staying away will be required. You will be contracted 40 hours per week, any hours worked over this will be paid at an increased overtime rate.
 
Your role will involve completing small & medium scale topographical surveys independently to a high standard, working with the lead surveyor on complex surveying projects, and processing survey and CAD data.
 
 
Required Skills/Experience:
·Previous experience working in the surveying industry (1-3+ years).
·Previous experience completing small & medium scale topographical surveys independently
·Experience processing raw survey data and CAD data to a high working standard
·Experience and knowledge of traversing and GPS control networks
·Technical knowledge and previous practical experience of topographical surveying, including experience using surveying equipment and software
·Full UK Driver's License and Right To Work in the UK.
