An opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Officer / Consultant with experience in Climate Change and Environmental Management to join a client in West Sussex. Your main duties include managing a range of sustainability projects, liaising with external stakeholders, reporting on the progress of agreed environmental priorities and targets and promoting behavioural change to reduce carbon emissions across the area.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £25 - £30 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Working within the Communities team your main duties include:
·Managing a range of sustainability, climate change and environmental projects
·Liaising, engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders and partners
·Establishing and monitoring processes for monitoring and reporting on environmental and sustainability targets
·Promoting and leading on behavioural change to reduce carbon emissions across the area
