My client is an industry leading Civil Engineering contractor based in the South, who provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering, rail and environmental services with specialist expertise in highways maintenance to government agencies, main contractors, local councils and other private clients.
From bridge reconstruction to groundworks, drainage schemes to vehicle restraint systems, they plan, build, repair, maintain, refurbish, and recycle throughout their organisation and have built a solid reputation for reliability and exceptional service delivery.
 
 
The Role:
 
I am now looking to appoint an experienced Highways Site Agent in the South West area, who will work with the operations and works managers to efficiently deliver projects to customers' expectations, attaining exceptional levels of Health and Safety Performance maximising financial return.
 
Already experienced within Highways and construction, you will have excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
 
Duties will include:
·Contributing towards the successful delivery of the schemes.
·Complying with Company procedures and legal obligations at all times, promoting best practice
·Contributing towards the cost plan and management for the schemes.
 

The candidate:
 
To be considered for this role, you will ideally live within the South West area and within a commutable distance of Bristol.
 
You must have proven Highways experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry is essential. You will also have strong knowledge and experience with Section 278 works, Local Authority works, Drainage, Kerbing, Embankment Stabilisation, Groundworks and civils within Highways.
 

Necessary qualifications and training will include:

·Relevant industry qualification HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent
·Relevant CSCS card (Level 6 and above)
·SMSTS
·TWC or TWS
·Highways experience
 

Package:
 
·£45,000 - £50,000 per annum
