My client are an independent transport planning consultancy that specialises in development planning work and they are looking for a Senior Transport Planner / Transport Planner in their Leeds office on a permanent basis.
 
You will need experience working on development planning projects for private sector clients preparing TAs, Travel Plans, input into EIA, attendance at public consultation events etc.  The company also does preliminary (feasibility) highway design but not detailed highway design post-planning. Ideally candidates will be currently working in Yorkshire or the North East (albeit not an absolute prerequisite) and have the following skill sets;
 
Proficiency in Junctions 9 (ARCADY and PICADY modules) is essential.  
Experience of LINSIG and/or CAD would also be useful. 
The role will not be client facing to begin with - They are looking for someone technically proficient who can assist the team to deliver projects to their clients.
 
In addition to basic salary (reviewed annually on 1 January) they offer:
