Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Surfacing Engineer to join their team in Buckinghamshire.
 
The candidate will need to be:
 
- Very experienced in the fields of carriageway and footway resurfacing, surface dressing and Micro-asphalt.
- HNC qualified as a minimum.
- Have wide knowledge of construction techniques and requirements of the SHW.
- Computer literate. [Microsoft Word, Excel, Project]
- Some CAD ability. [2D only]
- Knowledge of traffic management requirements, especially Chapter 8.
- Knowledge of 'Streetworks' and requirements of HAUC.
- Must be able to compile contract documentation such as CPP's and project programmes.
- Have a good working knowledge of the NEC 3 conditions of contract.
- Be able to compile and submit EWN's and CE's.
- Be able to direct Supervisors on sites and assess and make decisions regarding changes to the works etc.
- Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
- Be able to compile reports and other correspondence, with an excellent command of the English language.
- Team player.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
- Robust sense of humour.
