Responsibilities
 
The Birmingham Highways ISC involves maintenance of all highways related services and infrastructure under the responsibility of Birmingham County Council, including carriageway and foot way upgrades projects. We will look to you to utilise our existing supply chain, in which you will have the responsibility for the production and issue of scheme tender documentation, conducting reviews of responses, challenging submissions, then providing recommendations. Ensuring the commitment to delivery of the schemes, you will ensure that all subcontract task orders are issued on time and in detail to minimise risks and disputes. You will also be involved in Month-End reports.
 
What do you need to apply? 
 
 
To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate your in-depth knowledge of NEC contracts (ideally NEC4 Term Service Subcontract (TSS)), have experience with production of contract correspondence, have proven experience of managing and delivering Highway related schemes, understanding of Principal Contractor responsibilities, and have understanding of various forms of methods of measurement (Highways related).
