Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for permanent work within the railway sector? Do you have a Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering?  

My client is a market-leading multi-disciplinary contractor and due to recent successes and growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a multitude of challenging projects/frameworks, within a large tier one contractor.  

Employment type: Permanent  
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 P/A 
Location: South Wales 

Requirements: 

• ·Experience as a Project Manager in a rail environment 
• ·Strong civils experience in rail and working on associated projects 
• ·Valid PTS / SMSTS  
• ·Valid First Aid  
• ·Ideally a degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering.  
• ·Working knowledge of network rail standards 
• ·Live within a commutable distance of South Wales 

Daily duties: 

• ·Working on a variety of multi-disciplinary and civil engineering schemes in the Wales region.  
• ·Successful delivery of the contract within budget and programme.  
• ·Overseeing onsite activities including sub-contractors and direct labour.  
• ·Managing the project from start to completion, keeping client regularly updated of progress.  
• ·Work closely with the commercial team and senior management. 
• ·Ensure all relevant legislations and contracts are adhered to throughout project lifecycle.
